Seller has sold to Buyer, an Australian Labradoodle, AKA >Souldog< puppy as described below for a purchase price of $..................................Puppy is being acquired for such purposes as the breed is intended, for example, “Family Companion Dog” or “Service Dog” with tasks such as “Therapy Dog”, “Guide Dog”, “Diabetes ALERT Dog” or exhibition in obedience or agility competition. ...................................................., is an intact ............ born on........................................................., to sire..................................................., and is ..............................................................in color. HEALTH WARRANTY AND CONTRACT OF SALE

GENERAL HEALTHSeller hereby guarantees that at the time of delivery,puppy is in good health and has had relevant vaccinations and worm treatments.  Seller offers a seven (7) day general health guarantee.  You are advised for your own piece of mind to have your own veterinarian, examine your puppy within three (3) days of puppy’s arrival to ensure your complete satisfaction of puppy’s good health at Buyer’s expense.  You can also contact the Seller’s veterinarian, Dr. Jackson, who’s clinic performs all  procedures and health evaluations for my adult dogs.  If a puppy is found to have a chronic or serious health issue, Seller must be notified by Buyer immediately within the warranty period so appropriate action can be taken as soon as possible.

GENETIC HEALTH.  Seller also hereby guarantees puppy against all serious life altering genetic or hereditary conditions for two (2) years after the date of sale.  Should puppy be determined, at Buyers expense, to have an inherited illness that will greatly shorten the life of, or greatly alter the quality of life of puppy, Seller must be notified within the warranty period.

A WARRANTY for Hip Dysplasia (“HD”) is also provided for two (2) years after the date of sale.  This warranty will be void should the puppy be allowed to become overweight or joints to become overstressed during the first year of life due to rough play or long runs.  It is advised to restrain the puppy from playing in an overly strenuous manner with other dogs for the first twelve (12) months as this can cause tendonitis in the rear legs and will result in stiffness and limping.

WITH REGARD TO THE WARRANTY: Seller reserves the right to be given proof of examination and confirm all test results.  Seller also reserves the right to obtain a second opinion from a veterinarian of Seller’s choice, at Seller’s expense, before providing a full refund of the purchase price of puppy, or at Buyer’s option, a replacement puppy from the next applicable litter.  The cost and arrangements associated with returning the puppy will be the Buyer’s responsibility.  

NOT INCLUDED in this guarantee are health issues arising from trauma, abuse, neglect or failure to maintain general physical and emotional health care for the puppy as advised by Seller.

MAINTENANCE.  Buyer agrees to maintain puppy in good health, provide routine preventative health care including, but not limited to, safe levels of inoculation, internal and external parasites, preventative medication per Seller’s advice and support information on website and vaccination schedule provided.  All veterinarian fees and associated costs are Buyer’s responsibility.

RE-HOMING.  Puppy will not be given away/relinquished to an Animal Shelter. Should it become necessary, Buyer agrees that if at any time during puppy”s life, puppy has to be given away, Buyer will notify Seller and give Seller the opportunity to re-home puppy.  If Buyer finds a new home for puppy, Buyer will furnish contact information on puppy”s new owner to Seller. If puppy is re-homed, returned, or transferred to a new owner by Buyer or Seller, this contract is void and there will be no refund or replacement of puppy.

RETURNING A PUPPY  In the event that an unforeseen family crisis arises in the first month, the puppy can be returned to Breeder/Seller, however only a partial return of not more than 50% will be given.  No refund will be given for a change of mind or cold feet.

WAIVER OF LIABILITY.  Seller will not be held liable for any and all claims, damages, loss,and liability arising out of or resulting from or in any manner related to puppy at any given time

IN-TACT PUPPY RELEASE: If a puppy is released to the owner still in tact this is due to the size age or development and an agreement is hereby made that the owner shall have the puppy desexed at a time no later than 6 months of age.  It will be considered a breach of contract and trust if this occurs, unless a new agreement is made with me in person. The puppy has been released prior to desexing as a courtesy to the owner by Adam Ford in good faith with full expectations that the above shall be adhered to in totality. If owner wants to breed dog in partnership with Adam Ford in a guardian agreement, a new contract will be created.
